All the lathe chucks and attachments screw through the spindle flange and into the chucks back, (using 3 screws on the back).

Jun 27, 2018· A friend of mine gave me his Smithy midas 1220 ltd mill and lathe combo machine. I have been playing with it, with some scrap steel bar I had around the house. I bought some indexable cutting tools, a knurling tool and a parting tool for the lathe. Using the tools I bought, I can turn and face off stock and knurl it. Pretty simple.
